Healing Sessions for body and mind

60–90 minutes | Investment: $195

A student-informed exploration of nervous system regulation through touch and energy

As a student of Chinese Medicine, I am continually learning how ancient systems of health intersect with modern understandings of the nervous system, embodiment, and emotional regulation. This offering was born from that learning — a space where theory, practice, and presence meet gently.

This session is offered as a complementary wellbeing experience, informed by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy and Reiki principles. It is not clinical treatment, and I do not practise as a registered TCM practitioner or acupuncturist.

The Theory I Am Learning From

In Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy, wellbeing is understood as the harmonious movement of Qi and Blood throughout the body. When stress, emotional load, or physical tension accumulate, this movement may feel restricted, often experienced as tightness, fatigue, or difficulty settling.

As a student, I work with these ideas as guiding concepts, not diagnostic tools. I do not assess patterns or conditions. Instead, I allow the theory to inform how I touch, listen, and support regulation through safe, non-invasive techniques.

Tui Na (推拿) is one of the five branches of Chinese Medicine. In formal clinical settings, it is practised by fully qualified practitioners. In my sessions, Tui Na–inspired techniques are adapted conservatively, focusing on student-appropriate manual contact, nervous system awareness, and consent.

Reiki as a Supportive Practice

Reiki originated in Japan and is commonly understood as a biofield-based relaxation practice. In this setting, Reiki is offered to support rest, interoceptive awareness, and parasympathetic activation.

No belief system is required. Reiki is used gently, with consent, and always in service of grounding rather than transcendence.

What a Session May Include

• Arrival, check-in, and intention setting
• Non-diagnostic observation of posture, breath, and tone
• Reiki-informed hands-on or hands-off holding
• Tui Na–inspired pressing, rolling, kneading, and gentle acupressure
• Light joint movement where appropriate
• Grounding and integration at the close

Important Scope Note

This is not massage therapy, medical care, or Chinese Medicine treatment.
I am a student of Chinese Medicine, not a registered practitioner.
No diagnosis, acupuncture, or medical advice is provided.

Closing Reflection

This session is for those who want to slow down, feel held, and reconnect with their body in a way that is respectful, grounded, and gentle — without needing to be “fixed.”

Love,
Cristina
